Handcrafted Wood Ornaments

About Us

The Scrolling Otter started in 2020, after 20 years of making annual ornaments for family and friends.  My ornaments have evolved from simple, single wood pieces of the early days to the multi-wood creations of today.  My designs started with sketches and cardboard templates.  In recent years, my daughter has taken my ideas and created great looking designs.  Each ornament piece is cut on a scroll saw by hand, no Computer Aided Cutting.  Individual pieces are glued together, then each ornament is sanded and tung oil applied.
